Characters: The fairy of incuralbe illness, recently began appearing in the last century.

Notes: Made for my girlfriend's new bff Tressa who adores fairies. She was at our apartment one day and she looked at my fair book. Yeah, I have a fairy book, so what? Wanna' make something of it? I'll break your face! *ahem* Look, I got it when I was like a freshman in high school, possible middle school so I'm excused, okay? We all have crap from back then that we're ashamed of. Anyways, I bought for the art references. >_> (Yes, they'll beleive that.) The fairies in that book all have little description and they're all the fairy of something or another like happiness or darkness or missing socks. But yeah, I'm incredibly jealous of their relationship- my girlfriend and her friend's, I mean. They seem perfect for each other and I desperately want a friendship like that with someone. Oh well, for now I'll live vicariously through my girlfriend >_> Is that weird? I dun care! You know how impossible it's going to be to find another straight guy(okay, like 90% straight...85%....60%) that likes fairies and dumb crap like that? Okay, so here's some weird, awkwardness for background. I like to add lyrics to my scribbles sometimes, usually something from whatever it is I'm listening to at the time. In this instance it's another Ani DiFranco song, Your Next Bold Move. "Coming of age during the plague of Reagan and Bush, watching capitalism gun down democracy, it had this funny effect on me, I guess. I am cancer, I am H.I.V...." And I thought it would be really neat if this innocent, adorable little thing was the incarnation of something truly terrible such as cancer and H.I.V. But what's so awkward about that you ask? Maybe you didn't ask, but that's only because you'd feel weird for asking an already written text a question. Tressa's old man is sick with cancer...like, really, really sick. FML. Am I a completely horrible person or what? I swear I didn't know at the time!!! Anyways, I think when my girlfriend gave it to her they just sort of ignored the lyrics or just interpreted it as decorative,you know? But I felt guilty so I ended up scanning it, cropping it and coloring it and sending that version to her. On the bright side I'm told she really loves! :3 This is also the first thing I've ever drawn by hand and then colored digitally, so I'm glad it came out okei ^_^ It's the first thing I've drawn in a reallllly long while, like more than a month. I mean, just look at when my last post was. -_-' Yeah..I'm gonna' go play Metal Gear Solid 4 and kill some terrorists or something to make myself feel more manly ::Sneaks away in octo-camo ::
